Ah, the classic modern farmhouse look! No matter what you’ve heard or decided about shiplap, I will maintain that it does have its place. Used sparingly on an accent wall, ceiling, fireplace or range hood, shiplap is a historical texture that’s been a part of home building for much longer than even white subway tile or tiny hexagon floor tiles - both of which I really love to use in classically-minded spaces today. And in this bathroom, the horizontal lineage of the shiplap meets a refreshing break with rounded fixtures layered over top. Fabulous.
